Cats Angels, Inc. SPCA was formed in June of 2001 to help with the overpopulation of unwanted felines. We started an aggressive TNR program allows the spaying and neutering of feral cats and the return of them to their caregivers. We alsodeveloped a foster care program for many of the kittens found, so that they could be socialized and placed for adoption. Our program has adopted our over 3,500 cats since its inception. In 2006, we bought a building that houses our Thrift Store and Adoption Center on 8th Street in Fernandina Beach.
We are an all volunteer, non-profit, 501c3 charitable organization. We receive no city, state or goverment funding. All of our funding is through donations and fundraising. We always need volunteers to help us support our mission of minimizing the amount of homeless pets. We also accept items for our Thrift Store, where the proceeds benefit our spay/neuter program.
